I'm still tearing when I read Nicole's blog.And Roxane's.And Linin's.And Tzeling's.And Qingling's. It has always been my hope and aspiration as a coach to be able to motivate the people who chose to play touch.And to love the game like I did.And to forge lasting friendships during these years. And to develop them to be stronger people.To live with no regrets and to play like there's no more other matches.Because I do realise that I will grow old and come to a point where I will not be able to play anymore.That's when I want to look back at my life and see the players I have groom go far in THEIR life,be it in touch or other sports or other aspects in life.
That is the job of the coach.It is not playing to win.It is making,watching the player grow.
