Dogs and I

Had more time to myself after the hectic 1 week IVP season, and I found myself buying more and more books on stories about dogs. There was 1 author that I particularly liked: Jon Katz. There was a touch of humour and plently of love for his dogs, and when his dogs died, I felt like I had that loss too.Wth. Still, A Dog Year was a good book and it's worth the read. With the hype over Marley and me recently, I felt a tinge of annoyance over people who boughtthe book only after watching the movie.

On a brighter note I surfed Redspot (like finally) and liked this picture that the Redspot photographer took.
It speaks volumes. It reflects the hard work(yes we still train like hell), the very very cold ice dips, the hard games and the sheer joy in overcoming whatever shit was thrown at us,like the last minute email on jersery numbers too small must change(after 2 games already can U imagine!!), checking of nails only at the 3rd game and the shouting at us for reaching too near the sideline with a furious look.Siao. Tell us nicely la.
