Sports Day!

Had Pioneer's Sports day on Wed and...well it was pretty fun.Hahaha considering the fact that I pulled both my right hamstring and thigh.Feel so cheated!I agreed to help a Sec 3 class to run the 8x200m mixed realy cos I thot there would be ample rest in between,but who knows the Sec 2s ran first,followed by the Sec 1s then the Sec 3s.It was supposed to be Sec 1s first then 2s,then 3s and so on.Gosh.There I go,running the 7th leg for the Sec 1s and then died after finishing the 2nd leg for the Sec 3s.Me thought I will die and never ever recover from the bad pull of both hamstrings.Arghh.Am I glad that was over.

In the end I got 2nd for both races.Not a bad effort for 2 aching hamstrings and a boot of dizziness.

Disheartened,disappointed,disillusioned.

I hate to admit it but I've grown to bunk on being admitted to NIE a lot without realising it.I'm really not sure whether its just me (being paranoid) or that life has other plans for me.Aaron didnt think much of it,saying I have more time to think of whether I should stay in this line and that it should be ok.

And what the heck,I actually broke down in front of my Sec 4 class.It was really humbling.I had thought I had collected myself to go down and face them,but I guess it wasnt enough.My emotions are all in a mess.Felt so alone yesterday and cried terribly.I guess I have to face up to it sooner or later.It sucks to bottle up your feelings and I was never one to do well at that.

The fact that my PDO was 'blur' didnt help the least.From what I have heard there was no report written about me (contract teachers are supposed to have a report written up to MOE). Plus June had already went and sign the bond.Freak.Amd she didnt ask me whether I got it or not.I had to ask.That sucks.

Finally!

The round robin matches for STL has finally ended for the A div!Whew this sure was a long league...was geting tired having to juggle training the J1s in the morning and going for the games in the afternoon.

Played UWC yesterday and yeah we beat them!Have always respected UWC teams.Their altheticism had always won my admiration.If only our Asian kids nowadays have the confidence and the flair to play each and every time they get onto the field.
This was another of my good games.Scored 2,assit in 1 try and chased Tara down off defence when she intercepted a pass off NTU's players.

I watched my girls play too before my UWC game.Was happy with the way they played.They got on the field with a lot of heart and didnt give up during the 2nd half.They now looked more purposeful in their runs down in attack and much more clear of what to do in defence.They are definitely improving throughout this STL.I hope this will see them through their Nationals in June.Oh well,well see in June.

What really got me so elated was the fact that I can find the Magic Knight Rayearth OVA here!In English subtitles! I have been waiting for soooo long!Oh my gosh!The MC I took was worth it!Woohoo!

Under the Weather

I'm really really feeling the strain of doing both coaching and working full time + over time in school.Stayed in school till 5+ 6+ for the past 2 weeks and this is how bad it gets.By the time i get down to coaching I was dead shack.It didnt help that my form class was getting into trouble here and there over the past weeks. AND plus the fact that they have CIP these 2 weeks is enough.I was thinking to myself:Goodness I'm still young compared to some other teachers and I'm feeling so burnt out already?!

The Easter weekend killed me.I feel so sick.

Touch Weekend

Had another amazing game yest against SMU.Our first half was terrible,with us trying too much of the move taught by the Aussie Women's World Cup team coach Mr Peter Bell.Everyone was just passing for the sake of doing the move and not looking for breaks.No wonder we had such a hard first half.Feel that Anne can be more focused on the basic mistakes people are making instead of how the whole general move is going,but oh well different people different styles.

Was pretty happy with my own performance.Tried one of the moves and it work...twice!However I dont think NUS will let me get through that easily.

Was real happy that Hocus Pocus was doing well.(If Su says they played well I think it must be up to their standard).Gonna focus on a new attacking trick and some line defence drilling at the next training session.Hope these gals can manage their time properly.Tests and exxams are coming....sigh academic wise,I'm quuite worried for this batch.

Freaking crazy weather

Had a really good game against Milo Peng yesterday.The only glitch was the weather;from really hot to raining cats and dogs.Shessh.Thank goodness it did not affect is too much.NTU still had a pretty reasonable game,though I feel Jo and Mel still has to brush up on their defence.

Went down to the new SA Village to watch the Old boys play against the current SAJC rugby players.SAJC seriously did to get some bulk..the forwards look more like the backs.
And my mood went sliding down from there too.I felt slightly bad by the way I treated Aaron the last hour before he sent me home....I wasnt excatly the friendliest person on earth at that point.He was feeling tired as well(says he) but well,we stood at different corners of the service lift on our way down to the basement carpark.It dint felt right already.I was not in the best of moods(most prob cos of my tiredness and my in-coming flu) and I didnt really want to speak to him.Wa lauuuuuu.This sucks.

Got a feeling he's not gonna call today.Oh whatever la,if he doesnt call i wont bloody hell care la.
